Background, Vision & Mission
Never Hide Training Centre (NHTC) was established in 2021 in Kwa-Mhlanga, Mpumalanga. As young residents of our community, we identified a severe skills gap between unemployed youth and potential employers. Companies were forced to hire from other provinces while local youth remained without opportunities. We opened our doors as a direct response — bringing skills training, internet access, sports and after-school support right into the heart of our community.
To train and develop the youth of Mpumalanga, closing the skills gap between potential employers and unemployed youth — providing a variety of training programmes and activities that unlock every young person's full potential.
To see our youth equipped with adequate skills and access to sports and meaningful activities. We are committed to empowering youth, reducing crime through positive engagement, and delivering quality training that creates real jobs and real futures in our community.
- Provide accessible computer skills and digital literacy training
- Deliver accredited first aid, firefighting and OHS courses
- Support learners with homework, tutoring and after-school programmes
- Assist youth with online job and university applications
- Offer sport programmes as tools for discipline and community cohesion
- Reduce unemployment, crime and substance abuse through positive engagement
Born From Our Community's Need
As young residents of Mpumalanga, we learnt that our community lacks skills — a very big skills gap between potential employers and our youth. Companies had to hire people from other provinces, making it costly for local businesses and leaving our people unemployed.
Our people had to travel long distances to access basic skills like computer training. Learners living with grandparents struggled to get help with schoolwork. Crime and drug abuse became a real threat due to youth with nothing productive to do after school.
Never Hide Training Centre opened its doors as a solution — for people of all ages seeking skills training and support in overcoming these community challenges.

Our team is made up of passionate young people from Kwa-Mhlanga itself. We know our community's challenges first-hand because we grew up facing them. That's what makes our approach different — we're not outsiders, we're neighbours.
In October 2025 our team represented Kwa-Mhlanga at the NYDA National Youth Service Incubator — a national programme connecting youth-led organisations across South Africa.
